Rugby is the absolute best. You should give it a try!
(Pun intended)
Easter 2018:
This term is slightly different to the first two terms of the year, we don't have any league games for our first or second teams, so emphasis is on "Sevens" and "Touch rugby", along with ongoing squad training sessions.

If you'd like to give rugby a go the best tactic would be to come along to "Touch Rugby" on a Thursday at Grange Road, from 17:30.
This will be running from 26/04/18 - 07/06/2018.

You can download the O2 touch app and register for the ‘University of Cambridge - O2 Touch’, very cool and various prizes are available!
Here you can learn some basics of rugby, and meet lots of rugby peeps!
Teams of 6 people, but if you don't have a team come along and we can add you to one :-)
Next academic year:
We will be hosting "Development Days", normally on Sundays, with the first one on just after Freshers' Fair.
The Development Days are sessions where you can give rugby a go with multiple coaches and players to guide you through. For those who have played before it's a chance to meet us, build on your skills/ experience and find out about how rugby at Cambridge University works!
Visit us at Fresher's Fair and watch this space for further dates and timing for this year. It's also a good idea to like us on Facebook for updates! :-)
After the first few weeks of term we help Colleges form teams and start our College league; you'll be able to get in touch with college captains to join in with this at any time - information below will be updated!

For those who have played rugby before, or want to take a more serious approach then the University teams are the next option; we have a first team, "The Blues", and a Second Team, "The Tigers".
University training is on Tuesday and Friday evenings from 17:30 - 19:30 at Grange Road, with fitness and gym sessions throughout week.
We have league matches throughout the year and of course our Varsity matches- The Blues at Twickenham in December, and The Tigers match in March, this year in "The Other Place" (Oxford).
